PM MODI PREVENTS PAKISTAN HIJACK OF J&K GOV
Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured that the mischief by Pakistan to hijack the Jammu and Kashmir Government was foiled, by getting the Governor to Dissolve the Assembly on 21 November 2018.
The Pakistan Conspiracy was to force the rivals the PDP led by the Mehbooba Mufti Family and the JKNC led by the Abdullah Family to hijack the J&K Government, by taking the support of the INC.
The Pakistan Conspiracy Failed to be implemented speedily because 18 of the 29 PDP MLAs are against the Mehbooba Mufti Led PDP.
The 18 Rebel MLAs in the PDP were opposed to the formation of any Government involving the PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti, the JKNC and the INC.

Mehbooba Mufti requested Omar Abdullah to give to her the support of the 15 JKNC MLAs. Omar Abdullah agreed to support the Mehbooba Mufti effort to form a Government.
Mehbooba Mufti requested the INC to give to her the support of the 12 INC MLAs. INC agreed to support the Mehbooba Mufti effort to form a Government.
Mehbooba Mufti would have got the support of 15 JKNC MLAs, 12 INC MLAs and ONLY 11 of the 29 PDP MLAs to total 38 MLAs.
The required number of MLAs, is 44, in the 87 MLAs Assembly.
The Governor would NOT have allowed Mehbooba Mufti to form the Government, without the written support of 44 MLAs.
Sajjad Lone MLA with the support of an Independent MLA, 18 Rebel MLAs from the PDP and the 25 BJP MLAs was keen to form the Government.
The PDP with 29 MLAs can be split by Sajjad Lone only if Two-Third of the Total MLAs numbering 20 MLAs had Broken away from the PDP.
Only 18 of the 29 PDP MLAs were ready to split.
The Governor would NOT have allowed Sajjad Lone to form the Government, in the absence of the Two-Thirds of the 29 PDP MLAs Not splitting away from the PDP to support Sajjad Lone.
The Dissolution of the Assembly makes it impossible for anyone to be appointed as the Chief Minister, until the Fresh Elections are held and the New Assembly is constituted.
The J&K Assembly Elections will be held before the completion of the One Year of President’s Rule on 20 December 2019.
